This role will report to and partner with the Director of Internal, Franchisee and Advisory Board Communications.  <br /><br /><b><span>RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.</span></b></p><p></p><p><b><span>Core Responsibilities: </span></b></p><p></p><p><b><span>Advisory Board Administration</span></b></p><ul><li>Develop content strategy, consistent messaging and connectivity to brand strategy for Advisory Board meetings</li><li>Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and get alignment on agendas, content, meeting dates and meeting duration </li><li>Work closely with teams to develop and refine materials  </li><li>Review all content submitted and direct any edits required</li><li>Manage, refine and improve the Advisory Board process</li><li>Key liaison for Advisory Board members</li><li>Proactively anticipate needs of Advisory Board members and leadership team in advance of meetings</li><li>Work directly with the president on menu selection for Advisory Board meetings</li><li>Proactively prepare and distribute meeting agendas, presentations and communications</li><li>Work with key members of field and leadership teams to identify and select owners to attend quarterly meetings as observers</li><li>Arrange and manage travel and accommodation for members of the Advisory Board (20 people) and observers (up to 14 people) for quarterly meetings and other ad hoc meetings throughout the year</li><li>Onboard new Advisory Board members, including working with legal and payroll</li><li>Prepare expenses and submit invoices</li><li>Work with executive team assistants to manage calendars and book meetings</li><li>Manage third-party governance platform</li><li>Build, manage and reconcile meetings and travel budget</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Advisory Board Governance</b></p><ul><li>Develop governance processes for meetings</li><li>Develop and manage complex calendar of business meetings, taking into account business priorities, conflicting priorities and difficult to manage calendars </li><li>Manage adherence to handbook requirements, including managing the process for handbook updates/changes</li><li>Develop, refine and manage governance for board elections</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Franchisee Engagement</b></p><ul><li>Work with field and LT to identify franchisees to meet with</li><li>Responsible for tracking and managing list of owners met with nationally, including presenting to the President and COO on percentage of the system met with and strategy to engage more franchisees</li><li>Lead franchisee engagement planning and coordination e.g. events, dinners and activities with the executive team and franchisees both in Toronto and across the country</li><li>Lead franchisee engagement tracking to develop strategy to engage more of the system and share progress against goals</li><li>Work with teams within the business to coordinate flights, accommodations and meals for franchisees attending roundtables</li><li>Build, manage and reconcile franchisee engagement budget</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Franchisee Recognition Program</b></p><ul><li>Lead franchisee awards and recognition logistics strategy for convention and regional meetings, including workback development;
