Machine Operator - First Shift

  • This position is to operate a machine, work in a production team, and clean and maintain machine as needed. M-F 7am - 5pm

RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES

  • Produce products accurately
  • Operate equipment according to training manual and instructions from department personnel
  • Ensure all procedures are followed
  • Work in a team of approximately 4-8 personnel
  • Help identify and report safety hazards.
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform all other duties as required.

QUALIFICATION and SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to operate computer integrated equipment (knowledge of PLCs is helpful)

  • Experience in a production environment
  • Dedication to excellence and quality
  • Demonstrate good organizational skills.
  • Excellent people skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in all lists above
  • 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with experience operating machines
