Licensed EA or CPA for Common IRS & State Tax Notices

We are a boutique tax firm looking for a U.S.-Based Licensed EA or CPA to assist with IRS and state tax notices for our client base in an independent contract role. The role involves communicating with IRS/state agencies, preparing and submitting response letters if needed via mail, fax or email, and advocating for our clients best interest. This is a part-time position of 10-20 working hours per week (not including the initial hold time to get connected). If successful in this role, there is a potential for a long-term position including additional responsibilities and pay. You will be secondary Power of Attorney for the clients that you handle cases for.

The initial hold time prior to connecting with an agent for any call is not paid. Hold time during the call after an agent picks up is paid.

You will be provided a company phone number within a phone service app to use for all calls, as well as Callenq access for faster IRS connections to most of their main lines.

You will need your own computer, cell phone, and internet connection to fulfill this role.

You must reside in the United States and speak and write fluent english. Anyone outside of the United States will not be considered for this role.

No agencies or firms will be considered - we are seeking one independent contractor who has bandwidth to assist our firm with the department needs.
