Job Description:

The Lead, Global Real Estate is responsible for partnering with business segments to manage and optimize a global real estate portfolio in alignment with enterprise business objectives. This role leads strategic planning and transaction execution for assigned portions of the portfolio, ensuring real estate decisions support operational, financial, and workforce strategies.

The position serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, providing analytical insight, transaction leadership, and change management to enable efficient, compliant, and business-aligned real estate outcomes. A critical component of the role is building trusted relationships with internal customers and ensuring their needs are reflected in real estate strategies and execution.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with business segments and functional stakeholders to develop and execute real estate strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Manage assigned portions of the global real estate portfolio, including leasing, renewals, consolidations, and exits.
  • Lead transaction processes from strategy through execution, including site selection, negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Perform comprehensive deal term and financial analysis to assess transaction viability and business impact.
  • Evaluate how real estate decisions support enterprise strategy and operational needs; gather stakeholder feedback and translate into actionable recommendations.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on real estate activity, project status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support ongoing lease administration activities for a global workplace portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Tax, EHS, Security, Risk, and Accounting) to ensure compliant and timely execution.
  • Coordinate and manage external brokers, consultants, vendors, and legal counsel to support transaction execution and portfolio objectives.
  • Implement change strategies and ensure smooth transitions related to relocations, consolidations, and site changes.
  • Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization, cost savings, and operational improvements.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years prior Commercial Real Estate experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior Commercial Real Estate experience In lieu of degree, minimum 13 years of prior Commercial Real Estate experience.


Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Experience supporting government-regulated secured facilities and their operational requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate documents and processes, including leases, licenses, occupancy agreements, amendments, purchase and sale agreements, and subleases.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess stakeholder requirements and deliver tailored real estate analyses, options, and solutions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link real estate decisions to enterprise strategy.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex real estate concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing outsourced real estate brokers and service providers.
  • Knowledge of capital projects and construction project management.
  • Familiarity with competitive or sole-source acquisition processes for consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Experience analyzing market trends, financial metrics, and operational data to support strategic decision-making.


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $100,500-$186,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $87,500-$162,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
