Food Truck Cook/Operator (Seasonal – May to September)

We’re hiring an experienced Food Truck Cook / Operator for the upcoming summer season (May–September).

This role is ideal for someone who is confident working in a fast-paced kitchen, comfortable on a fryer, and capable of operating and driving a food truck independently.

This position works well alongside another cooking job or part-time role. Our busiest days are Fridays, occasional Saturdays, and larger events. Schedules are provided in advance, and additional hours may be available through prep work and event support as the season progresses.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items in a food truck environment.
  • Operate fryer and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times.
  • Set up, operate, and close down the food truck at events.
  • Drive the food truck to and from locations (valid driver’s license required).
  • Provide friendly, efficient service during busy service periods.

Requirements:
  • Previous food service or kitchen experience (required).
  • Experience working on a fryer.
  • Comfortable working in a food truck or fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the fly.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Reliable, punctual, and physically able to work long shifts.
  • Available May through the end of September.
