Laundry Attendant/ Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary

Our award winning housekeeping team is looking for hard-working, dedicated individuals to come join our team. If you possess a minimum of 1 year cleaning or laundry experience; take pride in your work; enjoy the comradery of a positive, friendly team and would love to work at an exceptionally clean property; please send in your resume! Open availability required as we all share weekends off. Rotating schedule. Cross-training in all housekeeping departments for growth opportunities.

The key role of the Laundry Attendant is to ensure laundry is completed efficiently and with strong attention to detail. Room Attendant is to ensure 100% cleanliness of all aspects of the hotel. This includes cleaning and stocking of guest rooms; public areas; common areas; and any other area that needs attention.

Must be able to spend 8 hours on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds.

Linens and garbage are removed from the room, washrooms cleaned & disinfected, beds made, room dusted, vacuumed and floors washed. Restock all amenities.

Linens and towels are sorted, stains pre-treated, and laundry machines run continually and efficiently. Items are processed as required by housekeeping team. Laundry machines are vacuumed and cleaned daily.

Only candidates who can legally work in Canada will be considered.

Any deficiencies must be documented and reported to maintenance.

Extra tasks may be assigned at the end of the day. For example: vacuuming stairwells, hallways, high dusting.
