Duties

  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes to ensure timely service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors
  • Handle food handling responsibilities responsibly, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
  • Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to maintain a clean dining environment for guests
  • Contribute to banquet setups and catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with service needs
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and uphold high-quality service standards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Experience with hospitality or hotel operations is a plus, especially in serving or banquet settings
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and teamwork
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and participate in ongoing training related to food safety and hygiene
