<p><strong>IMMEDIATE INTERIM OPPORTUNITY</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Interim Consultant Operations - Process Design</strong></p><p><strong>Duration: 4-6 Months</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Toronto, Ontario</strong></p><p><strong>Hybrid – Financial District – 2-3 days per week (flexible)</strong></p><p><br></p><p>A mid-sized financial services client is seeking an Interim Operations Lead to assist them in standing up a new operating model and function for a key department. The objective is to establish a practical, low-technology operations capability to improve visibility, control and scalability across the intake, triage, external consultant management, spend and contract management, knowledge management and reporting. <strong>This is an individual contributor and very hands- on.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct an operations assessment – current state.</li><li>Operating model design – create the target operating model tailored to a small team – must be a “tool, not a master”.</li><li>Core Process Implementation – intake, triage, tracking of workload and external partner governance.</li><li>Develop reporting – KPI/dashboards for the department and senior management.</li><li>Train the team and transition to the team.</li></ul><p><strong>Competencies and Requirements: </strong></p><ul><li>Experience standing up a new operating model and the associated processes for a regulated financial services organization.</li><li>Experience designing full lifecycle processes – intake, triage, external partner governance, reporting.</li><li>Highly process oriented – works from a methodology vs. adhoc</li><li>Capable of working with, and influencing senior professionals and leaders.</li></ul><p>This role will appeal to someone who enjoys doing the full project independently.
