Inpatient Psychiatrist at Phelps Memorial Hospital Behavioral Rehabilitation Unit <p>Northwell Health - Sleepy Hollow, NY</p><p>Northwell Health's of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team at Phelps Hospital. We are recruiting for a highly motivated Practitioner who has outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills and is able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Addiction training preferred, but not required.</p><p>This is a truly unique opportunity to join the inpatient team at Phelps Hospital to support a 22-bed 28-day substance use rehabilitation unit which provides acute and around-the-clock care to patients 18 years old and older. We specialize in treatment of adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The program provides individualized, goal-centered treatment by an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, behavioral health counselors, licensed social workers, a behavioral health assistant and recreational therapists. All admissions to the Behavioral Rehabilitation Unit are clinically reviewed and coordinated through our admissions department.
