Flexible hybrid work model What you’ll do: The HR Operations team at TJX is looking for a motivated intern to support Global People Analytics and HR Operations Strategy & Technology. As part of the operational engine of HR, the team uses technology and analytics to support associates worldwide and drive profitable sales. Our vision is to anticipate future workforce needs and deliver innovative, scalable solutions that position HR as a strategic enabler of growth, performance, and purpose. We deliver proactive and predictive analytics, insights, reporting solutions and oversee/monitor the delivery of tech-enabled capabilities while promoting innovation and continuous improvement including the HR AI roadmap and Knowledge Management. We work with all areas within Human Resources including Talent Acquisition, Global Talent Management, Inclusion and Diversity, Learning and Development, Total Rewards, and our Human Resource Business Partners across all divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop reports, scorecards, and dashboards that deliver workforce insights and KPI’s.
  • Create compelling data visualizations to support insight generation.
  • Build analyses that tell the story of program effectiveness, business process efficiencies, identify opportunities for automation, and explain workforce trends.
  • Partner with the business to share insights and ensure understanding of report and analysis findings.
  • Storytelling with data. Use data to highlight key organization trends and forecast future outcomes.
  • Learn Workday and Service Now report writer to build and modify business reports.
  • Analyze monthly HR Shared Services reporting and present findings to leadership.
  • Brainstorm actions to mitigate future risks and identify opportunity areas.

Requirements

  • Current Junior-level students (Dec 2026 or Spring 2027 grads)
  • Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Operations, Business, Human Resources or related field
  • Genuine interest in career in Human Resources, Operations, Analytics at TJX
  • Deeply curious, with a consultative approach, and strong listening and diagnostic skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including the ability to synthesize data into relevant insights.
  • Ability to present data in a logical, concise manner to help tell a story.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and high professional standards for customer service, confidentiality, and quality of work.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently follow through on commitments
  • Experience with Microsoft suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data visualization tools including Power BI a plus
  • Comfortable and interested in learning new technologies for building reports and conducting analysis.
