Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, fold, and sort linens, clothing, and other fabric items.
  • Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by sweeping, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of soiled linens following safety protocols.
  • Assist with light custodial duties such as cleaning laundry carts, storage areas, and related facilities.
  • Support general housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, and organizing linen supplies.
  • Follow safety guidelines during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of laundry loads and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services or related fields is preferred.
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and industrial cleaning methods.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and laundry machinery is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and safety protocols.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward maintaining a clean environment.
