This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a Healthcare Outbound Calling Virtual Assistant to join their team full time. They operate within the healthcare services space and have shown consistent growth in recent years by improving patient coordination processes and operational efficiency across their network.
This role is focused on high-volume outbound calling tied directly to healthcare operations. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, highly organized, and comfortable handling sensitive information while following structured calling workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Place outbound phone calls to former healthcare members to coordinate the return of medical equipment

  • Contact insurance payor hotlines to follow up on members marked as ineligible

  • Accurately document call outcomes and next steps in internal systems

  • Follow call scripts and compliance guidelines while maintaining a professional and empathetic tone

  • Track pending follow-ups and ensure timely resolution of each case

  • Escalate unresolved or complex cases to the appropriate internal team when needed



Requirements

  • Prior experience in outbound calling or phone-based customer support

  • Strong verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to handle repetitive calling tasks with consistency and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with structured processes and call scripts

  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems during calls

Qualifications

  • Experience in a healthcare, insurance, or medical services environment is preferred

  • Familiarity with insurance terminology, eligibility status, or equipment return processes is a plus

  • Experience working with U.S. clients or healthcare organizations is an advantage
