We are looking for a strategically strong and creatively driven Head of Marketing & Digital to lead the end-to-end marketing, brand and digital demand generation agenda across Malmaison and Hotel du Vin.

This role is responsible for shaping and delivering the group’s marketing, brand and digital strategy, with a clear focus on driving brand strength, customer acquisition, guest engagement and loyalty participation across both brands.

You will lead brand, digital platforms, CRM, PR, social, content and creative campaign delivery, working closely with the Commercial, Revenue, Operations, Finance and Sales teams to translate trading priorities into effective marketing plans. This is a senior leadership role that combines strategic direction with hands-on oversight in a complex, multi-site hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing as Head of Marketing & Digital:

  • Own and deliver the end‑to‑end Marketing & Digital strategy across both brands, aligned to business priorities and customer growth objectives
  • Drive commercial performance through marketing activity that increases demand, customer acquisition, loyalty and brand awareness
  • Lead brand positioning, tone of voice and brand guardianship across all guest touchpoints, online and offline
  • Plan and deliver national and local campaigns across rooms, F&B, meetings & events and key seasonal trading moments
  • Own all digital platforms including websites, booking funnel experience, SEO, CRM, performance media and marketing analytics
  • Optimise the end‑to‑end customer journey from discovery through booking and post‑stay engagement to maximise conversion and retention
  • Lead CRM strategy including data capture, segmentation, personalisation, lifecycle communications and email marketing
  • Own PR, press office, influencer activity, social media strategy (paid and organic) and reputation management across both brands
  • Lead, develop and structure the Marketing & Digital team, building capability across central and property teams
  • Manage agency partners and the Marketing & Digital budget, ensuring strong governance, ROI and alignment with wider commercial, revenue and operational teams

What we’re looking for:

  • Significant senior leadership experience in Marketing and Digital within hospitality, leisure, travel, retail or lifestyle brands
  • Proven track record of delivering brand growth, customer acquisition and engagement through integrated marketing and digital strategies
  • Strong understanding of brand development, websites, performance media, social media, SEO, analytics, CRM and customer journeys
  • Experience leading complex, multi-channel marketing teams in matrix organisations
  • Commercially aware with confidence working closely with Commercial, Revenue and Finance teams
  • Experience leading transformation, change and capability uplift in evolving environments
  • Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight where required
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence at senior leadership level
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong judgement and decision-making ability
