About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with experience in Golang to join our team in New York. As a GoLang Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services to support our applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Golang.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Golang (Go) development.
  • Build RESTful APIs and gRPC services to support frontend and mobile applications.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
  • Implement unit and integration tests for all written code.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to build CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring reliability and uptime.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in backend development using Go (Golang).
  • Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with API design (REST/gRPC) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Proficient with Git, version control, and code collaboration tools.
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience in writing automated tests and using frameworks like Go testing, Testify, etc.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$100,000 – 110,000 annually]/[$65.00 - 70.00 per hour]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
