We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.</p><br><br><p class="job-description-header">What You'll Do</p><p>As the Global Marketing Director within BCG’s Health Care Practice Area (HCPA), you will team with Practice Area leadership and senior leadership of BCG’s global marketing & communications function to shape, lead, and deliver a marketing program that build’s BCG’s brand, share of voice, and commercial excellence globally.</p><p>You will act as a thought partner to the Global Practice Area Leader (PAL), the Marketing MDP, and the full HCPA leadership team to translate the PA’s strategic priorities into a robust and effective marketing program. In this capacity, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of the HCPA’s target audiences across sectors and markets. You will bring a strategic content lens and a research-driven, robust point of view to content initiatives, and expertise in planning, orchestrating, and delivering multi-channel amplification efforts to reach those target audiences—including oversight of the HCPA’s social media program and account-based marketing initiative to ensure content reaches priority clients. You will also lead the strategic shaping and delivery of the HCPA’s broad Seat at the Table (SATT) and global events program involvement, including agenda development, speaker preparation, and senior-level coordination. You will lead a small HCPA marketing team and collaborate very closely with the HCPA GPMD and HC PA M&O team, as well as the broader Global Practices marketing team to align the HCPA marketing agenda with brand and commercial priorities.</p><p>Beyond the core HCPA role, you will also be deeply involved in teaming across the marketing & communications organization and will be expected to cultivate and leverage a strong internal and external network. This will include engagement within the Global Practices marketing team, with local and regional marketing teams, and as the interface for the HCPA with corporate marketing teams in BCG’s content studio, external relations & events, digital marketing, communications, etc.</p><p> </p><p>You're Good At</p><ul><li>Understanding the needs of the HCPA’s target audience, including the best platforms, programming, and channel strategies to reach and engage them.</li><li>Bringing an innate curiosity to the HCPA’s research agenda, shaping ideas / IP, sparring with PA thought leaders, and ultimately building a content program that delivers the right publications to the market</li><li>Initiating ideas and building programs with an entrepreneurial spirit</li><li>Owning marketing and communication topics with the HC leadership team (teaming with the HC Marketing Partner).</li><li>Championing the HCPA within the global marketing & communications organization</li><li>Setting direction/ agenda with little direction, driving independently with high level of autonomy</li><li>Operating effectively in a highly matrixed organization and fast-paced environment where ownership, accountability, and when a way forward may be unclear, pushing for clarity</li><li>Complex project management, driving on-time deliverables, anticipating and managing risks</li><li>Managing multiple senior stakeholders, building consensus, persuading, and negotiating while being a strong team player across seniority levels – with a strong presence, resilience, and maturity</li><li>Leveraging a comprehensive marketing and communications external network</li></ul><br><br><p class="job-description-header">What You'll Bring</p><ul><li>10-12+ years of relevant experience, professional services preferred</li><li>Master's degree preferred</li><li>Role related certifications preferred, marketing technology and AI fluency</li><li>Demonstrated superior expertise and leadership skills; ability to manage risk accordingly</li><li>Demonstrated thought leadership; ability to drive significant impact; act as change agent</li><li>Excellent professional communication skills – written, presentation, and live</li></ul><br><br><p class="job-description-header">Who You'll Work With</p><p>Practice Area Management & Operations team members keep BCG’s industry and functional practice areas operating responsively and efficiently.
