Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is actively seeking a technically skilled and self-driven Freelance IT Support Technician to provide remote technical support for our global client base. As a freelance technician, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve IT-related issues for various businesses and professionals, all from the comfort of your own home. This is a client-facing position requiring excellent communication, problem-solving, and multi-platform technical expertise.

Whether you are assisting a startup with basic desktop issues or helping a mid-size company manage its cloud systems, each day will bring unique challenges and learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues through remote tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Zoom).

  • Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner via chat, email, or video call.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to Windows, MacOS, mobile devices, printers, routers, and basic server setups.

  • Install, configure, and update software applications as required.

  • Document solutions and maintain detailed service logs.

  • Escalate advanced technical issues to senior IT professionals when necessary.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of client data and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical support or IT helpdesk (minimum 1 year preferred).

  • Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic network troubleshooting.

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, cloud storage platforms (Google Drive, OneDrive), and remote desktop tools.

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.

  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in IT support, remote helpdesk, or a similar freelance/contract position.

  • Experience supporting clients remotely is highly preferred.

  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus but not mandatory.

Working Hours
