Female Tax Preparer & Bookkeeper (Canadian Experience Required) -Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Preparer & Bookkeeper with strong knowledge of Canadian accounting practices, tax compliance, and bookkeeping standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Canadian corporate and personal tax returns, HST/GST filings, and day-to-day bookkeeping for small to medium-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file T1 (Personal) and T2 (Corporate) tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Manage bookkeeping functions including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
  • File HST/GST returns and ensure compliance with CRA guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, general ledger entries, and adjusting journal entries.
  • Assist clients with year-end financial statements and provide supporting schedules.
  • Handle T4, T5, and other slips preparation and filing.
  • Communicate with CRA regarding client accounts, audits, and inquiries.
  • Provide advisory support to clients regarding tax planning and bookkeeping best practices.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Canadian tax preparation and bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online/Desktop, TaxCycle, or similar Canadian accounting/tax software.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP, CRA regulations, and HST/GST compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client files simultaneously.
  • Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA) or equivalent experience is an asset.

Pay: ₹12,351.39 - ₹95,000.00 per month
