The Role

We are seeking a talented Fashion Designer who displays confidence in shirting and a strong technical foundation to join our growing design team. This is a pivotal role for a designer who brings both creative sensitivity and precision to their work, and who is confident contributing across multiple product categories while helping to shape the ongoing evolution of our collections.

You will be responsible for developing product that feels considered, modern and enduring—balancing aesthetic integrity with commercial awareness and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop seasonal collections with a strong focus on shirting, while contributing across multiple categories including tops, dresses, tailoring and soft separates

  • Translate brand aesthetic into refined, commercially relevant product with attention to proportion, detail and fabric

  • Produce clear, accurate design packs, technical drawings and specifications to a high professional standard

  • Contribute confidently to fittings, demonstrating basic technical ability in garment fit, balance and construction.

  • Work closely garment technologists to achieve exceptional fit and finish communicating updates clearly and efficiently.

  • Source and develop premium fabrics, trims and finishes as appropriate to the brand.

  • Conduct thoughtful research into trends, craftsmanship, fabrication and market positioning

  • Collaborate closely with merchandising, production and marketing to ensure cohesive, elevated collections

  • Support the evolution of core styles while introducing newness in a subtle, brand-aligned way

  • Uphold a strong awareness of sustainability and responsible sourcing

Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years’ experience in a fashion design role within a premium or contemporary brand

  • Demonstrable expertise in shirting design (essential)

  • Experience designing across multiple product categories, not limited to a single area

  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction with proven ability to fit garments confidently and accurately

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Ability to create precise, detailed tech packs and communicate clearly with factories

  • A refined design eye with strong fabric sensibility and attention to detail

  • Commercially astute, with an understanding of the WNU customer and market positioning

  • Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment

  • Passion for quality, longevity and beautifully considered product
