Facilities Maintenance Mechanic II (Temporary) Position Profile: This position is responsible for the effective and efficient preventative maintenance and repair of all facility infrastructure, associated equipment and production related items. The position supports various activities and projects to ensure the goals, objectives and strategic initiatives of the Marotta organization are achieved. In addition, effective interaction with a broad spectrum of people both internal and external to the organization is essential to successfully support operations. Key Responsibilities + Inspect buildings and associated structures to detect and identify malfunctions, damage, adverse conditions, evaluate functional systems and document accordingly for repair/resolution + Perform electrical maintenance activities to include but not limited to basic troubleshooting, replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches, outlets, incandescent, fluorescent and LED bulbs/lamps, ballast, sockets, fuses, appliances, etc.) install and bend conduit, pull wire, and install circuit breakers using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools + Perform plumbing maintenance inclusive of replacement or repair of leaks in drains, faucets, toilets, urinals, replacing drains hoses, septic system inspections, installation of low-pressure pneumatic lines, perform advanced troubleshooting, etc. + Perform cutting, bending and fabrication of HP gas lines. + Perform basic surface preparation, spackle, sanding, painting, carpentry and misc. masonry work activities + Perform basic HVAC activities, work inclusive of adjusting thermostats, pneumatic controls, HVAC and electric energy management systems, condenser cleaning, pump repair, repairing water, gas, electric and pneumatic lines and basic troubleshooting/repair to ensure proper equipment operation + Perform scheduled PM on facility system(s) and support equipment (as req’d.) + Able to utilize volt & multi-meters, hydrometer, amp probe, data line toner/tracer, various wrench & saw types, grinders, drills/hammer drills, tube bending equipment, misc. hand-tools, etc. May require assistance/training in the use and application of some tools. + Perform basic assembly and relocation of office & production furniture/equipment, reconfigure building areas.
