Advise clients across the transaction lifecycle focusing on corporate strategy. Help clients in developing actionable growth strategies, such as corporate strategy, investment strategy, transaction evaluation, and/or value creation. Develop business strategies by analyzing market trends or conditions, industry trends, financial data, and utilizing customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization. Review transaction rationale and/or deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks relating to a proposed transaction. Assist in defining the objective and scope of strategy engagements and client deliverables in consultation with the Vice President and Managing Director. Manage work streams and projects from initial data collection and analysis to creating final client deliverables. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds in performing quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to develop strategies and solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Public Policy, a Life Science field, a Health Care field, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience performing quantitative or qualitative analysis.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Public Policy, a Life Science field, a Health Care field, or a related field plus 2 years of work experience performing quantitative or qualitative analysis.
  • Experience may be gained as part of the required education, including co-op and/or internship experience.
  • Of the required work experience, must have 2 years of experience consulting to provide corporate clients with strategic solutions.
  • Must have 2 years of consulting experience including managing business strategy and M&A strategic diligence projects in complex environments.
  • Must have 2 years of experience making detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Must have 1 year of experience in project management and in supervising engagement teams comprised of 2 or more team members.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis which includes performing primary research with industry experts and customers, drafting survey instruments, conducting macro-economic forecasts, building financial models from scratch using MS Excel, presenting analysis and recommendations to senior clients and stakeholders.
  • Requires travel up to 40%, of which 5% may be international, to serve client needs.
