Job Overview The Medical Data Entry Concierge is a vital pharmacy support position that plays a crucial role in assisting our pharmacists with the medication procurement process for our hospice partners across the United States. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for accurately entering patient and prescription information into our online system, coordinating refills, and verifying inventory at our partnering pharmacies. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask will ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and support. Key Responsibilities Assist clinicians in the medication procurement process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of patient care Complete verification processes for quality patient care via data review and data entry, adhering to all HIPAA protocols for patient privacy Conduct second checks of peer work to ensure accuracy and maintain the highest standards of quality Navigate between various software systems for communication and completion of assignments, utilizing excellent computer skills and familiarity with web browsers and bolthires applications Communicate effectively with clinicians, pharmacists, and hospice partners via chat, email, phone calls, and patient profile documentation, providing exceptional customer service and support Maintain a high level of productivity while balancing quality of care, prioritizing efforts and managing multiple tasks with ease Answer phone calls, respond to routine questions, and outreach to pharmacists as needed, providing timely and accurate information Accurately include necessary information when assisting clinicians for the procurement of hospice patient medication requirements, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of care Call in patient prescription refills to designated dispensing pharmacies, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of medication orders Outreach to pharmacy partners to complete stock checks, ensuring medications are available for patient care and minimizing delays or disruptions Collaborate with fellow Concierge team members and other teams throughout the organization, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication Assist in training new team members as assigned, sharing knowledge and expertise to promote professional growth and development Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or equivalent Attention to detail and excellent listening skills, with the ability to accurately enter data and maintain confidentiality Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clinicians, pharmacists, and hospice partners Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in web browsers, bolthires applications, and data entry software Ability to multitask and prioritize efforts, managing multiple tasks and deadlines with ease A basic understanding of medical terminology, with the ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and procedures Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior experience in healthcare, particularly in a pharmacy-related setting or prescription order entry Experience with various web browsers, bolthires docs, and bolthires Sheets, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications Familiarity with HIPAA protocols and patient privacy regulations, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of patient care Working Conditions This is a sedentary position that can be completed sitting at a desk in an office setting or working from home. Stand-up desks are available upon request, and you will be provided with a laptop and two additional computer screens, along with a headset for telephone communications. As an evening and overnight shift position, you will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
