About the Role This position is a member of the Data Innovation Group within the Data Innovation Division at arenaflex. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for assisting employees in all aspects of end-user computing, including software/hardware installations, upgrades, and overall maintenance of PC desktop/laptop systems and peripherals. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring seamless technical support and resolving issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities Resolves and closes tickets/work orders supporting end-user desktops and peripherals Answers customer care issues raised from the Helpdesk Contributes to desktop projects (global installs/upgrades) as a project team member Remotely diagnoses and resolves requests using remote tools Investigates and collaborates with different departments to assist with system-related issues Documents customer interactions in incident management system including asset management Recovers data from hard disk drives or performs data migration Supports remote access for virtual private network connectivity as well as remote/broadband connectivity for workstations Installs and configures local and network-based printers Performs preventive maintenance Works various shifts, holidays, on-call, and travels as required Follows management direction, adhering to IT policy and procedure Performs other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Minimum Education and Previous Professional Training: Associate/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience/training 2 years of verifiable 'hands-on' IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC desktop software and hardware issues Firsthand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A+ certification MCSE/MCP is a plus Past IT infrastructure experience in an Aircraft/Airport environment Skills, Licenses, and Certificates The ideal candidate will possess: General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10 Knowledge of workflow and labeling systems Understanding of VPN connectivity and ability to troubleshoot issues Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs What You'll Get At arenaflex, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical benefits: Access to health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits from day one Wellness Programs: Tools, resources, and support to help you be your best self 401(k) Program: Available upon enrollment, with employer contributions available after one year Additional Benefits: Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, cruises, and more Diversity and Inclusion at arenaflex At arenaflex, we believe that inclusion and diversity are the foundation of a powerful workforce.
