About the Role This position will be part of our partner association within the Financial Planning Systems space. The ideal candidate will have a mixed background of finance and IT experience. As a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning Systems, you will be responsible for supporting and developing Financial Systems applications, as they apply to the Finance organization, as well as acting as an internal consultant to those groups to identify automation opportunities and develop/provide suitable solutions. Key Responsibilities Supports the Hyperion planning application, consistently, for forecast and actual financials Validates the data from Hyperion Financial Management and from regulators Investigates and resolves issues with data, including divisional roll-arenaflex and intercompany transactions Supports system maintenance; maintains user permissions Supports clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models Assists with preparation of in-depth situations and analytical results analyses on various complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses Coordinates and completes monthly headcount process regarding Hyperion Updates Hyperion Planning with organizational changes; coordinates hierarchical system changes with Regulators and GL organization Consults with work groups to determine reporting business requirements; proposes and presents efficient solutions Creates Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as forecasting and planning models for Finance divisions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience/training 2 years of work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial statements, as well as financial modeling and analysis Solid IT background, including experience with Oracle and multi-dimensional and relational database structures Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we prefer candidates with: Experience using Hyperion, as well as development and implementation experience (including Business Intelligence, Essbase, Planning) Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate will possess: Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical approaches relating to financial issues Ability to issue solve, module, and analyze data Meticulous with focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks Knowledge of arenaflex Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Strong communication skills Excellent collaboration skills with proven ability to work effectively in diverse situations Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
