Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Entry-Level Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs to children on the autism arenaflex. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children on the autism arenaflex, implementing evidence-based treatment plans and strategies. Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, using discrete trials and other assessment tools to inform treatment decisions. Work collaboratively with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy. Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining a professional and goal-oriented approach in all aspects of your work. Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in your schedule. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred. Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting, or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting. Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle. Physical Requirements: Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs, perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time. Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children. Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
