About the Role: Customer Service Representative The Customer Service Representative role at arenaflex is a dynamic and rewarding position that involves providing top-notch support to our customers through various channels, including phone, email, and other digital platforms. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, assisting with medical referrals, verifying insurance eligibility, and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work options for candidates located in PST, MST, or CST time zones, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers. Key Responsibilities: Answer 70-90 incoming phone calls per day from customers and identify the type of assistance needed, providing personalized support and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Make outbound calls to customers regarding medical referrals, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and resources to navigate their healthcare journey. Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues, documenting required information in computer systems and ensuring that customer interactions are accurate and up-to-date. Assist customers with obtaining prescribed medical equipment and supplies, providing guidance and support to ensure that they receive the necessary resources to manage their healthcare needs. Verify insurance eligibility and benefit coverage, obtaining insurance authorization and ensuring that customers receive the necessary support to access their healthcare benefits. Research complex issues across multiple databases and work with support resources to resolve customer issues, providing timely and effective solutions to customer problems. Essential Qualifications: High school diploma / GED (or higher) or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and communication skills. Must be 18 years of age or older, with a minimum of 1+ years of experience working in a customer service environment, preferably in a call center setting. Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work an 8-hour shift schedule during normal business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm PST) and occasional overtime, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Prior health care/insurance experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems.
