As a Customer Experience Banker, you will be the face of our organization, serving as a Financial Concierge to our walk-in customers and playing a pivotal role in retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships. Key Responsibilities In this critical role, your primary focus will be on delivering outstanding customer service, identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships, and recommending appropriate banking products and services that meet their financial goals. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues in a professional and courteous manner Being proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products and services, including but not limited to checking and savings accounts, loans, and credit cards Proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners Educating and referring customers to other areas of arenaflex to deepen relationships and build a strong partnership, such as wealth management, investment services, or small business banking Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk Demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation to consistently meet or exceed performance expectations Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as business, finance, or marketing Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment A strong understanding of banking products and services, including consumer deposit accounts, loans, and credit cards The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: 1 year or more of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales Cash handling skills and experience with point-of-sale systems and other banking technology Comfort with technology, including mobile services and online banking services, with the ability to educate customers on their use and benefits A proven track record of success in sales and customer service, with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills and competencies, including: Customer Focus : A deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for delivering exceptional service and support Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and concepts Relationship Building : A strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners Sales and Marketing : A solid understanding of sales and marketing principles, with the ability to identify opportunities and recommend products and services that meet customer needs Technical Skills : Proficiency in banking systems and technology, including mobile and online banking services Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our colleagues.
