The Manipulate Aircraft: A Complex System The Open Connect platform is a complex system that includes: * Cloud microservices that users interact with directly after pressing the "Play" button * Systems for ensuring successful and resilient streaming of content * Services critical to making cloud video games possible * Load-balancing algorithms for optimizing hardware utilization Challenging Questions and Opportunities Our team is constantly seeking to answer complex questions and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. Some of the questions we're currently exploring include: * How can we design our systems to react to failure, internet traffic shifts, and other real-time adjustments? * How do we optimize traffic for live streaming over the backbone? * How can we ensure the highest quality content is available to our users, and how can we improve the viewer experience? * What is the most efficient way to process petabytes of content into our machines to optimize their throughput? * How can we design our streaming hardware to meet the needs of our users?
