Equitable is seeking an influential and dynamic Employee Benefits Claims Training Policies & Procedures Specialist to join our Group Disability and Absence Claims organization. This role will play a critical part in overseeing the design, development, and delivery of Group Claims Procedures (SOPs/job aids), Correspondence and Training programs. What You'll Be Doing • Training Program Innovation: Design and implement innovative training programs using the latest educational technologies. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback. Adapt training materials to meet the evolving needs of the organization and regulatory changes. • Process Optimization: Develop claims process workflows to reduce inefficiencies. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve processing times. • Knowledge Management: Establish quality assurance protocols for all training materials and SOPs. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality standards. Develop corrective action plans to address any identified deficiencies. • Technology Integration: Lead the integration of new technologies into existing claims processes. Ensure seamless adoption of digital tools by providing comprehensive training and support. Monitor technology performance and user feedback to make necessary adjustments. • Compliance: Create and maintain a correspondence library, policies and procedures. Create and maintain new hire and ongoing training across products where needed. Work closely with internal partners to ensure all claims processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Performs other duties as assigned. This position offers a flexible work schedule: it may be fully remote/hybrid. If you are located near one of our offices (e.g., Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; Syracuse, NY), a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days on-site per week is expected to foster collaboration and connection. The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, arenaflex bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities.
