Ecommerce Email Growth Consultant

Black Bow Gift Co. is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Email Growth Consultant to lead and optimize our Klaviyo ecosystem.

This is a performance-driven consulting role focused on driving measurable revenue growth through email marketing. We are looking for someone with demonstrated ability to improve results, grow subscriber lists, optimize automation, and fully maximize Klaviyo within an ecommerce environment.

This role is not just about sending campaigns. It is about strategy, segmentation, testing, and revenue impact.

Core ResponsibilitiesEmail Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute 1–3 segmented campaigns per week
  • Align campaigns with promotions, launches, and seasonal initiatives
  • A/B test subject lines, content, and CTAs
  • Improve revenue per send and overall email contribution to revenue

Automation & Optimization

  • Audit and optimize key flows (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, VIP)
  • Improve flow performance and retention metrics
  • Refine segmentation logic and targeting

List Growth & Conversion

  • Optimize pop-ups and subscriber capture systems
  • Improve subscriber conversion rates
  • Maintain list hygiene and deliverability best practices

Design & Brand Execution

  • Create visually strong, brand-aligned email campaigns
  • Use design tools (Canva, Adobe, Figma, etc.) to elevate presentation
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and visuals

Reporting & Accountability

  • Provide monthly reporting including:
  • Revenue from email
  • Engagement metrics
  • Flow performance
  • Subscriber growth
  • Identify opportunities and present data-backed optimization recommendations

Required Experience

  • 3+ years advanced Klaviyo experience (ecommerce required)
  • Demonstrated results improving retention and lifecycle revenue
  • Strong segmentation and automation logic skills
  • Shopify integration experience
  • Graphic design capability for email campaigns
  • Ability to independently manage and maximize marketing tools

Engagement Details

  • Remote contract role
  • Estimated 12–18 hours per week (may fluctuate based on skill and ability to support other marketing activities)
  • Flexible schedule with availability during Atlantic Time
  • Independent contractor (must supply own equipment and internet)

Email marketing is the primary focus of this engagement. However, we are open to expanding scope and hours for candidates who can demonstrate strong results in additional revenue-driving areas such as LinkedIn positioning, Pinterest growth, TikTok Shop strategy, video content creation, or integrated campaign execution.

We value consultants who think beyond a single channel and understand how digital systems connect to drive compounding growth.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $20.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 37.5 per week
