About the Role & Program

Disney Entertainment Television is seeking a Talent Relations Intern for the Summer/Fall 2026 semester. The Talent Relations team is an essential part of the company’s Marketing division and is responsible for making the Walt Disney Company the best home for talent and creatives! 

Primarily reporting to the Director of Talent Relations at ABC, there will also be opportunities to work alongside other Talent Relations teams across the company (Hulu, Freeform/Onyx Collective, Disney Branded Television/Disney Jr., Disney Television Studios etc.) on larger company-wide initiatives. 

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, California area from June 2026-January 2027.

What You Will Do

The Talent Relations Intern must be mature with outstanding interpersonal skills, exhibit the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate for this role is proactive, organized, efficient, and capable of working on multiple projects at once! 

Responsibilities

  • Lead effort in ensuring that master talent database is kept up to date across all divisions 

  • Assist with the creation of needed event/shoot documents (itineraries, talent face sheets etc.)

  • Work with Associate Manager to compile talent suggestions for events and research talent interests to ideate on talent gifts (birthdays, show milestones etc.) 

  • Discreetly handle highly confidential and sensitive information 

  • Work with department Associate Manager as well as SVP’s Executive Assistant on additional administrative and project-related tasks, as needed 

Required Qualifications & Skills 

  • Active interest in TV/entertainment supported by relevant experience, coursework, or industry awareness.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while applying sound judgment and problem‑solving skills

  • Manages time and priorities to consistently meet deadlines and maintain organized work

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Google Docs/Spreadsheets, Gmail, Canva

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience engaging professionally with talent and their managers, publicists and assistants is a plus but not required 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

 Additional Information

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • Fully available from June 2026 through January 2027

  • Fully available from Monday through Friday, primarily, and occasionally nights and weekends for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, CA area

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work


The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
