Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Convenience Store Associate to join our Winterport Freshies team. This position plays a vital role in keeping our store stocked, clean, and welcoming while ensuring customers have a positive experience. The role includes stocking shelves, assisting with deli items, maintaining fuel areas, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with products; rotate items to ensure freshness.
  • May prepare, package, and stock deli items according to safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli, sales floor, restrooms, and fueling area.
  • May operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and process payments.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing deliveries.
  • Perform daily/weekly cleaning tasks and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Communicate low stock, maintenance needs, or customer concerns to management.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and work on your feet for extended periods.

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work involves both indoor (store/deli) and outdoor (fuel area) duties.
