Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team.

This is a 1099 position and cleaners will need to bring their own supplies. Please note, we are looking for cleaners residing in Long Island as it makes it easier to commute to jobs. We are looking to hire and place jobs asap, we're looking forward to hearing from you.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role is essential in ensuring that facilities are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for all.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Conduct floor care activities including buffing and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
  • Carry out facilities maintenance duties to ensure all areas are functional and well-kept.
  • Execute industrial cleaning tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by replenishing supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Assist with custodial duties in various settings, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support porter services by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
  • Engage in residential painting projects when necessary, contributing to overall property maintenance.

Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality results consistently.
