OPERATIONS MANAGER

Southington, CT (On-Site, Part-Time)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Oversee daily order fulfillment for all Shopify, wholesale, and drop-ship orders — ensuring every order is picked, packed, and shipped with precision and on schedule.

  • Manage inventory control across Shopify and Mirakl integrations, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely replenishments, and efficient warehouse flow.

  • Oversee the receiving process for incoming products — verifying quantities, inspecting quality, and updating digital inventory records.

  • Lead and schedule warehouse staff, assigning daily priorities for picking, packing, and shipping tasks.

  • Ensure all orders meet borrowed BLU’s quality and presentation standards, reflecting the brand’s luxury positioning through packaging and attention to detail.

  • Coordinate shipping logistics, carrier pickups, and troubleshoot any shipping or delivery issues as they arise.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring safety, orderliness, and operational readiness.

  • Collaborate with leadership to track and report fulfillment metrics, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve workflow efficiency.

  • Oversee facilities maintenance and ensure the space meets operational and aesthetic standards.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in e-commerce or warehouse operations, ideally with direct involvement in order fulfillment and inventory management.

  • Strong working knowledge of Shopify and familiarity with integrated marketplaces (Mirakl, etc.).

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience with small warehouse teams.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

  • A sense of pride in craftsmanship and presentation — aligning with borrowed BLU’s commitment to design and quality.

PAY RANGE: $22 – $28 per hour (based on experience).
Part-time position: approximately 3+ days/week. Room to grow.

FULFILLMENT ASSISTANT

Southington, CT (On-Site, Part-Time)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare all outgoing Shopify, wholesale, and drop-ship orders with care and accuracy, ensuring every package meets brand presentation standards.

  • Assist in inventory management, including counting, restocking, labeling, and organizing products.

  • Receive and process incoming shipments — unpacking, inspecting, verifying counts, and maintaining updated records.

  • Maintain an organized, spotless warehouse and packing area to ensure efficiency and uphold borrowed BLU’s aesthetic standards.

  • Support the Operations Manager with daily fulfillment needs, including labeling, order tracking, and packaging material organization.

  • Conduct quality control checks on all outgoing orders to ensure items are free from damage and presentation-ready.

  • Assist with special projects, product kitting, and packaging for seasonal or wholesale orders.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency in execution.

  • Previous experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or e-commerce operations preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
