Checkpoint Firewall Engineer

Location: Remote Opportunity

Duration: Long-Term

Project

  • Work on Checkpoint Firewall evergreen upgrade, migration as well as firewall testing.
  • Documentation – Jira / Confluence
  • Cisco networking skills, troubleshooting Cisco switches, routing, etc.
  • Manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including firmware upgrades, HA, routing, VPN (IPSec/SSL), and system diagnostics.
  • Checkpoint Maestro – nice to have,

Change work / migration:

  • Change work expected 2/4 Saturdays in a month, time back in lieu (max 40 hour working week).
  • They will work in their time zone but in some cases they will need to support other time zones.
