Garden Catering, known for its delicious chicken nuggets, is looking for a highly skilled and friendly Cashier Server- Food Service/Restaurant to join our team. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring that every guest leaves happier than when they arrived. Cashier Server- Food Service/Restaurant Responsibilities:

  • Greet every customer who enters the restaurant or calls on the phone with a smile and warm greeting
  • Take their order and enter it into the Point of Sale system
  • Answer customer questions, suggestively upsell menu items, and address concerns with kindness
  • Count and handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely
  • Pack the order once it is prepared by the kitchen with all sauces, drinks, and sides
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a great customer experience every time.

Cashier Server- Food Service/Restaurant Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to speak, write, and read English fluently.
  • Previous customer service experience in restaurants is a plus
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to follow instructions diligently
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings

We’re a quick-serve style restaurant with a full menu of nuggets, wraps, salads and breakfast served all day. Catering is a huge part of our business and in some locations we also offer late night hours. We are a family owned and operated company with 8 locations in CT and NY and more locations on the horizon.
