The National Account Manager (NAM) – Away from Home, Recreation/Fitness/Amusement is responsible for driving profitable growth across national & regional customers within fitness centers, recreation facilities, amusement parks, entertainment venues and experimental destinations. This role owns the end-to-end customer strategy, from annual planning and negotiations to executional excellence, partnering cross-functionally to unlock distribution, menu adoption and brand visibility in high-traffic, away-from-home environments.


The ideal candidate has deep expertise in contract management, skilled negotiation abilities, and a proven history of driving results through solution-based selling.

Responsibilities

  • Own national and large regional accounts across fitness chains, recreation facilities, amusement parks and entertainment venues
  • Develop and execute Joint Value Creation aligned with our growth priorities
  • Identify white-space opportunities across channels including cafes, concessions, vending, grab-and-go, and food courts
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy and portfolio optimization
  • Deliver annual revenue, volume and profitability targets
  • Manage forecasting, pipeline development and promotional planning
  • Drive distribution wins, SKU expansion and menu placements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Distribution, Category, Legal) to create customized programs and solutions for the segment
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, collaborating & lead our brand presence across highly visible venues through: sampling programs, sponsorships and event-based activations
  • Identify & influence innovation, packaging & brand activation strategy for the channel based on the needs of the consumer
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external decision-makers to ensure brand standards and merchandising excellence across customer locations
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy and execution
  • Provide regular updates on account performance, risks, and opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of foodservice sales experience required, with preference for candidates who have sold into the Recreation & Fitness segment
  • Experience working with major GPOs and sub-GPOs at the corporate level
  • Deep understanding of FSM & GPO contract structures, and the ability to interpret, negotiate, and manage complex contracts to ensure compliance and favorable terms for Chobani
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and managing large, complex accounts
  • Ability to sell through consultative and solution-based selling techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30-50% of the time

The salary range for this full-time position is $123,300.00 - $150,700.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
