Call Center Representative (PART-TIME/REMOTE)

Job Description and Responsibilities

THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION
Available Shift:
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday: 10:00PM-5:00AM (PST) / 1:00AM-8:00AM (EST) - Total of 26 hours per week.
Training (Three Weeks):
  • Monday through Friday: 10:00AM-4:00PM (PST) / 1:00PM-7:00PM (EST)
JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
Under direct supervision, the Call Center Coordinator provides 24/7 support to the Acute Care Service Facilities nationwide. The Call Center Coordinator helps facilitate communication between hospitals and providers by triaging and directing calls accordingly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Acts as liaison between hospital staff, nurses, pharmacies, patients, and providers, etc.
  • Responsible for triaging inbound calls for multiple TeamHealth facilities.
  • Manage and maintain daily provider schedules for each facility.
  • Responsible for relaying any daily schedule changes to staff.
  • Responsible for relaying any schedule process changes to management.
  • Responsible for relaying updated or new provider contact info to staff and management.
  • Accurately document inbound/outbound calls.
  • Accurately enter inbound/outbound calls into appropriate database.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Approximately one year of office experience in a medical setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
Ability to handle stress and conflict well.
Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision.
Strong attention to detail; ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None.
