Bookkeeping Specialist

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping: Manage AR, AP, payroll, and bank reconciliations while keeping financial records in top shape.
  • Month-end & year-end: Support close processes, reconcile accounts, and prepare accurate reports clients can count on.
  • Tax compliance: Help clients stay on top of HST, WSIB, EHT, and other filings.
  • Client connection: Be a reliable point of contact — responding to emails, calls, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Payroll & reporting: Process payroll and assist with payroll-related compliance.
  • Process improvement: Spot opportunities to make our systems more efficient and put your ideas into action.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree or diploma in accounting/business, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience (ideally in an accounting firm or tech-savvy company).
  • Strong knowledge of cash & accrual bookkeeping and intercompany balances.
  • Confidence with QuickBooks Online, Dext, payment processors such as Plooto, and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Resourceful and tech-savvy — you like finding smarter ways to do things.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
