Job Role: Azure Platform Consultant (Non-Technical Hands-On Role) Job Location: Remote, USA (Comfortable to work in PST) Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Azure Platform Consultant to support application teams in planning and executing their deployments and migrations to arenaflex Azure. This is not a hands-on technical role, but requires strong expertise in technical design, release management, and Azure services. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic advisor, guiding teams through onboarding, environment planning, and service integration across the Azure ecosystem. In this role, you will • Engage clients' tenants and provide a comprehensive overview of the Azure platform onboarding process. • Review and validate technical designs to ensure alignment with Azure PaaS service capabilities. • Recommend and finalize solution design changes during intake before environment provisioning. • Collaborate with project managers to negotiate delivery timelines, scope, and resource planning. • Plan and coordinate Azure environment deployments for application teams. • Provide guidance on Azure services including AKS, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and PostgreSQL. • Stay updated on upcoming Azure features and collaborate with arenaflex for platform enhancements. • Advise on Azure DevOps technologies such as Kubernetes, arenaflex/CD pipelines, Key Vault, and GitHub. • Facilitate requirement gathering, implementation planning, and continuous improvement with onsite/offshore teams. • Promote innovation, collaboration, and effective communication across stakeholders. • Apply Agile and continuous delivery methodologies to support project execution. What you'll need to succeed (required skills) • Proven experience in Azure platform consulting, with a focus on design and planning rather than hands-on development. • Strong understanding of release management and deployment strategies. • Familiarity with a wide range of Azure services including: • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) • Databricks • Azure Data Factory • Synapse Analytics • PostgreSQL • Exposure to Azure DevOps tools and practices. • Experience working with arenaflex on platform features and roadmap discussions. • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. • Ability to work in Agile environments and manage cross-functional teams. Preferred skills: what will help you stand out • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305, AZ-400) are a plus. • Experience in large-scale enterprise Azure migrations or deployments. • Familiarity with chatbot and machine learning services on Azure. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $99,000 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
