AWS Solutions Architect/ Technology

Innosoft is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team. You will be an integral member of the Capture and Proposal Teams? efforts to produce high quality compliant, persuasive, and winning responses to Government Solicitations. You will serve as a key member of business development and proposal activities. Roles and Responsibilities: Innosoft is seeking an AWS-based Solutions Architect to develop technical solutions and implement them in the Innosoft AWS environment. The ideal candidate shall perform the following roles and responsibilities: • Lead and manage the overall design, development, and writing of the technical approach/solution for priority proposals. • Interpret technical requirements of Federal Government procurement solicitations (i.e., Request for Proposal (RFPs), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI), etc.) • Identify and lead Technical Team(s) with a variety of skill sets in the development of innovative, advanced, differentiated solutions in response to customer RFPs and RFIs. • Develop reusable solution content and branding of frameworks/methodologies for proposals and presentations, proof-of-concept (POC), and Case Studies • Write, edit, and review technical proposal content, consolidating, rationalizing, and incorporating reviewer/technical expert edits and developing a basis of estimate (BOE) to support the pricing team. • Write technical content, serve as a proposal technical volume lead, and work with technical staff and SMEs to design solutions. • Participate in technical proposal content reviews and make recommendations for content improvement and/or compliance. • Lead and assist in the design and develop technical solutions for bidding on Federal and State contracts and implement them into the AWS cloud at Innosoft labs. • Assist in preliminary research on technical aspects of the RFP and mapping technical requirements to Innosoft Past performance. • Staying abreast of Industry Trends and Cutting-edge Technologies by participating in technical webinars, and technology conferences, and following professional publications. • Provide technical solutions by strictly adhering to Customer project lifecycle and technical architecture guidelines. • Translate customer requirements into AWS-based solutions using the recommended frameworks and technology. • Designing the backend solutions by identifying the database load, scale, and anticipated growth rate. • Design a roadmap by reviewing the Customer's business requirements, identifying the technology gaps where the existing systems fall short, identifying the functional capabilities needed to effectively support or improve the processes, and preparing an itemized, prioritized checklist of what steps need to be taken. • Developing proposal orals to highlight the key functionalities of the technical solution offered. • Responsible for designing, building, and supporting the AWS platform at Innosoft Labs and Linux-based instances based on industry standards, best practices, and guidelines. • Determine technical standards and specifications and lead the design, build and support of shared services AWS platform components. • Implement the products based on best Practices. • Review the current architectural landscape and make appropriate recommendations. • Must be able to compare various solutions and determine the one which best fits the need. • Research new technologies and products for their applicability to business processes. Requirements Educational Qualifications: • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline is required. • A Master?s Degree is preferred. Required Skills: • Bachelor?s Degree in IT or Computer Science and 10+ years of IT work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. • At least six (6) years of experience working with the design and implementation of systems and applications in arenaflex Web Services (AWS) environment. • 5+ years of experience working in federal contracting, providing IT services to multiple agencies • Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in RFP solutioning and knowledge of Federal agencies such as CMS, ED, VA, IRS, and HHS. • Knowledge of government business domain and/or strong commercial solution implementation is required. • Hands-on experience in solution, technical or information architecture required. • The ideal candidate should come from a solutions delivery/program delivery background • Knowledge of industry proposal practices, including Shipley Best Practices • Excellent communication skills with a high level of proficiency in business and technical writing, editing, and proofreading • Sets up administrator and service accounts and troubleshoot creates/updates and Maintains system documentation, interacts with users, and evaluates vendor products, deep understanding of monitoring AWS instances and services • arenaflex Web Services (AWS) platform capabilities and best practices architectures, and engineering solutions within multiple Cloud accounts and services. • Experience working in AWS via the CLI and management console. Knowledge and experience architecting and configuring Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs). • Understanding of the arenaflex Web Services (AWS) Well Architected Framework. • Proven technical knowledge of networks, internet systems, databases, and operating systems including Linux, and arenaflex in AWS. • Must be detail-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to understand technical requirements quickly. • Demonstrating good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple proposals at the same time. • Ability to understand, articulate and document specific customer requirements. • Strong experience with Agile Scrum Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)methodologies. • AWS Certification is preferred. • PMP (or) Scrum Master certification is preferred.
