AVP, Corporate Banking Operations Specialist

Overview The Assistant Vice President, Corporate Banking Operations Specialist is responsible for operational functions that supports the Corporate Banking Deposits team. The role will create and implement Group procedures while adhering to regulatory compliance standards, as well as assist the Department in being able to focus and streamline work to meet established goals and objectives. Responsibilities The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. • Respond to customer inquiries; resolve problems and communicate solutions to the customer. • Maintain exceptional knowledge of all internal policies / procedures; monitor adherence to regulations, policies and procedures and serve as subject matter expert for the Corporate Banking team. • Use a Customer Relationship Management (“CRM†) or database to record activities and research product information. • Complete monthly reports and maintain department records as needed. • Use Power BI to create dashboards, track goals for the servicing team & log balance fluctuations with the assistance of the Data Analytics Department. • View Director reports each day to look at new accounts, closed accounts, dormant accounts, Certificate of deposit maturity lists and file maintenance changes to any Corporate Banking accounts. • Assist senior management with requested reports reflecting Corporate Banking inflows/outflows. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum 3 years of experience in a banking or financial institution required. • MS Office proficiency required, with an intermediate knowledge of Excel. • Knowledge of bank's products and services preferred. • Prior experience with a CRM system preferred. • Power BI experience a plus. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent customer service skills • Acute attention to detail.
