This position is at Wonder Auto & Tire Centre, Avonlea court, which is part of Shift Auto Group. Shift Auto Group consists of Fredericton Mitsubishi, Fredericton Kia, Volvo Cars New Brunswick, Miramichi Kia, 5 ReCar locations, St Croix Auto, Velocity Auto Body and 13 Wonder Auto locations in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provincial Motor Vehicle inspections

  • Used vehicle inspections

  • Mechanical fitness inspections

  • Automotive diagnostic and repair including but not limited to brakes, exhaust, suspension, wheels and tires, driveline, engine, electrical, HVAC, transmission, fuel and emissions, 4WD and AWD systems

  • Automotive maintenance including fluid maintenance, alignments, tires and brakes

  • Used vehicle mechanical reconditioning

Qualifications:

  • Provincial Motor Vehicle inspection station license preferred

  • Red Seal certified preferred

  • Valid drivers license required

  • EV and or PHEV training preferred

  • Air conditioning handling certification preferred
