Introduction

We are seeking an exceptional Associate / Senior Associate to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments, supporting portfolio value creation, and contributing to thematic research across sub-sectors and geographies for the Agri-Food investment team.


Responsibilities

  • Taking part in identifying key sectoral developments and assessing investment opportunities across the entire food value chain
  • Conducting research and financial analysis on assigned sub-sectors and relevant companies
  • Developing financial models and presentations for internal evaluation and investment committees
  • Conducting rigorous commercial and strategic due diligence, synthesizing insights into clear investment recommendations
  • Structuring and consummating new direct investments as well as pursuing divestments where appropriate
  • Monitoring and managing existing portfolio companies and new direct investments
  • Establishing and cultivating relationships (including travel) with companies, external advisors, and other investment firms
  • Assisting with team’s regular portfolio reporting and firm-wide strategic initiatives


Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with outstanding academic records (preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or STEM) from a leading university
  • Preferably 1-3 years of experience with a top-tier private equity, investment bank, management consulting, or corporate development role at a global company
  • High level of interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well within diverse teams and collaborate across multiple stakeholders
  • Self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently
