Associate Medical Director, Evidence Generation - Rare Disease

<strong>About This Role<br><br></strong>The Associate Medical Director, Evidence Generation role for rare disease is a part of the US Medical Team, a strategic partner within Biogen, that helps inform medical practice in our rare disease medical team and pipeline to improve meaningful patient outcomes. Through development, support and execution of a cross-functionally accepted Evidence Generation plan, the Associate Medical Director, Evidence Generation will lead the implementation of a cross-portfolio evidence generation plan and successfully deliver the plan using a balance between technical expertise, therapeutic knowledge, project and communication skills, leveraging and prioritizing internal and external resources as required. This individual contributor role supports the full portfolio of US marketed and pipeline products and reports to the Head of Evidence Generation.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate or lead the development of quality, impactful evidence generation activities, including clinical studies, real-world evidence generation, payor/managed care collaborative RWE studies, etc., that will be used by field medical or commercial teams to educate HCPs, patients, PAGs, or other customers.</li><li>Ensure studies are conducted in compliance with relevant SOPs and applicable internal, external, regulatory requirements and that study teams and stakeholders are informed of progress against goals, major study risks/opportunities and agree to corresponding contingency/mitigation plans as needed.</li><li>Communicate clearly, confidently, and credibly; easily understanding other points of views and responding appropriately. Demonstrate a potential to perceive and then engage in new opportunities for collaboration; develop solutions quickly to take advantage of emerging opportunities; take calculated risks and learn from failure.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Who You Are<br><br></strong><ul><li>Strong-Proficient in RWE disciplines such as comparative effectiveness study design, prospective study design, other RWD analysis and what payers consider strong evidence.
