The Associate Brand Manager, Tequila is a key contributor to the development and implementation of an innovative, consumer-centric brand marketing strategy and supports the execution of all programming and activations across all markets and channels, in alignment with Maison brand strategy and the broader MHUSA 2030 Strategy.

Marketing Strategy

  • Support the brand’s key stakeholders to define brand strategy and marketing objectives.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the MHUSA 2030 Strategy, in alignment with the Maison’s broader brand strategy.
  • Assist in the execution of marketing programs and activations to ensure the delivery of volume and profit targets is appropriately supported.
  • Coordinate the development and articulation of luxury programming in the most desirable channels
  • Support the management of the brand’s A&P deployment strategy, ensure that the A&P budget is consistently prioritized and tracked against brand objectives.
  • Assist with the annual brand planning process, in collaboration with Brand Managers, Strategy & Business Planning, Consumer Engagement, the Commercial organization, CC&I, and the Consumer Insights team.

Brand Management:

  • Collaborate with Channel Programming & Trade Marketing team to design and develop elevated, luxury POS materials and brand assets to drive brand strategy and leverage consumer engagement opportunities at the moment of choice.
  • Partner with brand leadership on the management of programming KPIs.

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships, internally and externally, across the brand and teams.
  • Manage relationships with Strategy & Business Planning, Consumer Engagement, the Commercial team, CC&I team, Corporate Communications, Finance, Legal, HR, and IT to build and maintain commitments that enable the delivery of brand priorities and objectives.
  • Maintain successful relationships with agency business partners and other third-party stakeholders to continually ensure their commitment to delivering brand objectives.
  • Maintain a flexible and adaptable mindset by continually evaluating, revising, and responding with agility to meet rapidly evolving business needs, and perform other functions and duties as assigned. Strong attention to detail is also critical.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Professional Experience

2-3 years of brand marketing experience, preferably in the luxury consumer goods or U.S. wines and spirits industries.

Practical/Technical Knowledge

  • Strong command of luxury trends & U.S. culture
  • High level of execution – with strong attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency – skills with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Understanding of brand strategy development in a commercial context
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision making
  • Understanding of the U.S. three-tier distribution system, a plus
