Winterfield Golf Club is seeking a passionate, motivated and reliable greenkeeper to join our small course maintenance team. Winterfield is proudly owned by its members and has recently seen big investment in all areas of the club, including the golf course, making this an exciting opportunity for a career driven, hardworking candidate to help us improve all areas of the course and deliver exceptional playing surfaces.

You will assist in maintaining the golf course to a consistently high standard throughout the year, supporting both daily play and competition preparation. You must be flexible and able to work occasional additional weekends when required through the summer months.

Key Responsibilities

· Daily course set up (tees, greens, bunker work and general presentation)

· Operation and maintenance of machinery

· Mowing, turf care and renovation work

· Supporting seasonal projects and improvement works

· Fully compliant in all Health and Safety procedures including COSHH and safe use of chemicals (where relevant/qualified)

· Competent in all general greenkeeping tasks expected

Essential Requirements

· SVQ/NVQ Level 2(Sportsturf/Greenkeeping) minimum (or relevant)

· Strong work ethic and attention to detail

· Ability to work early mornings in all weather conditions

· Team player with a positive attitude

· Strongly desirable PA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certificates

Working Pattern

· Full time permanent position

· Includes 1 in 3 weekends (rota basis)

· Occasional extra weekend shift for big club competitions

Salary & Benefits
