Our software platform provides proprietary insights that helps high-growth companies find the highest ROI events, conferences and trade shows to attend and sponsor. We have built an AI-powered platform that customers describe as an event marketer's dream.

Vendelux was founded in 2021, and our recent $14 million Series A was led by FirstMark, whose portfolio includes companies like Shopify, Pinterest, Discord, Airbnb, Draft Kings, Carta and Justworks (amongst others). Our leadership team includes alumni from Bain, ZoomInfo, Shutterstock, Compass, ModernLoop, Forter, Zulilly, NewtonX.

We're looking for a driven, resilient and high energy Appointment Setter with a proven track record in cold calling. In this role, your primary focus will be high-volume outbound calling to generate qualified leads and pre-book meetings across a book of business spanning several industries. Your day-to-day will center on phone outreach-building relationships, uncovering needs, and driving top-of-funnel pipeline. This typically will net out to 20-25, 2-3 minute real conversations per day.

We are looking to hire appointment setters based either in NYC/ east coast or Las Vegas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make a high volume of daily outbound calls to targeted prospects using a parallel dialer.
  • Engage prospects in consultative conversations to uncover challenges and opportunities across a book of business spanning several industries.
  • Pre-book meetings for upcoming events across assigned accounts.
  • Capture, track, and manage leads using a parallel dialer, and other prospecting tools.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of proven success in a cold calling, appointment setting or inside sales role.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding outbound activity and meeting-setting targets.
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders over the phone.
  • Ability to effectively handle objections and maintain productive conversations.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable handling rejection while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Highly organized and able to manage a large volume of outreach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using parallel dialers and other calling specific tech
