Application Architect, Supply Chain Planning (o9)

As the Application Architect, Supply Chain, you’ll play a key role in our digital transformation journey by leading the design and implementation of the o9 platform, tailored to optimize end-to-end (E2E) supply chain planning. Acting as the primary liaison between business and technology teams, you will drive requirements gathering, solution design, and seamless execution of integrated business planning solutions, from demand planning to inventory and supply chain optimization.


You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business challenges and goals, translating them into scalable, value-driven solutions. Your deep expertise in supply chain management and the o9 platform will enable you to deliver comprehensive solutions that drive business value.


You will be responsible for the functional design within your specific planning domain, ensuring the delivery of innovative and scalable solutions. By combining technical knowledge with strong business engagement, you will help business navigate challenges and achieve their strategic objectives


This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Application Architecture team works strategically on end-to-end supply chain projects, focusing on delivering scalable solutions across demand planning, supply chain optimization, and inventory management. We closely collaborate with the ERP team to ensure that our solutions align with business objectives and are fully supported by the systems that drive operations. Together with our partners, we ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement, enabling the business to stay agile, efficient, and ready for future growth.


If you were the Application Architect, Supply Chain now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Leading Solution Design - Driving solution architecture and design for o9 implementations, focusing on Integrated Business Planning and ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis - Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and design scalable, integrated solutions
  • Defining Architecture & Roadmaps - Establishing architecture principles, target-state designs, and creating solution roadmaps to guide the implementation process
  • Guiding Implementation Teams - Leading functional and configuration teams through design, configuration, and implementation phases to ensure smooth execution
  • Ensuring Efficiency & Performance - Balancing business efficiency, system performance, security, and compliance in solution designs
  • Overseeing Detailed Design - Coordinating with Configuration Leads and Functional Consultants to ensure accurate design implementation
  • Shaping Future-State Systems - Collaborating with development, product, and business teams to shape the evolution of future-state systems and ensuring continuous improvement
  • Applying Best Practices - Implementing structured delivery methodologies, industry best practices, and documentation standards to ensure high-quality solutions
  • Serving as a Trusted Advisor - Acting as a trusted advisor on supply chain planning and o9 solutions, providing strategic guidance and expertise to clients

  • Partnering with Planning, Merchandising, and Tech teams to roll out additional modules or enhancements (e.g., Assortment Planning)
  • Supporting data governance and master data improvement initiatives to drive higher planning accuracy
  • Driving continuous improvement in planning workflows, improving planner experience and reducing manual work
  • Working on global planning transformation initiatives aligned with our sustainability and DTC growth strategies


Are you our next Application Architect, Supply Chain Planning?
  • You have 12+ years of professional experience, with deep expertise in o9 Solutions and at least 5+ years in a Solution Architect role for o9 implementations
  • You have experience in supply chain planning domains such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, and S&OP
  • You have a proven ability to configure, customize, and integrate o9 platforms to deliver scalable, business-driven solutions
  • You possess a strategic mindset with experience designing solutions that balance business efficiency, system performance, security, and compliance
  • You are comfortable managing senior stakeholders, and you can confidently communicate and guide teams through design, implementation, and testing phases
  • You are adept at translating business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring solutions meet business needs and align with the client’s strategic goals
  • You are an expert in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with technical, functional, and business teams to ensure successful deployment
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are skilled at managing ambiguity and complex challenges
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop scalable solutions that drive value
  • Strong hands-on experience with the o9 platform, and/or strong familiarity with its data model and planning architecture
  • Strong experience in change management and driving user adoption across global teams
  • Strong understanding of End-to-End Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), Demand Planning, and related functions
  • Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with integration concepts, using ETL tools or APIs for planning data flow
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration across global teams, and external stakeholders with cultural sensitivity and effective communication


$108,000 - $149,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$108,000 - CAD$149,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
