Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME) (Remote Eligible, U.S.)

Job Description Summary • Responsible for developing manufacturing method development and continuous improvement across the supply base for the BWRX-300. • Supply chain includes suppliers, partners and integrators and fabricators. The role will focus on standard plant and develop rate capable manufacturing solutions across the global supply chain. • The role will lead improvement project for producibility, rate capability meeting the requirements of SQDC and the BWRX-300 program. • Collaborate in Make-Buy and Division of Responsibility review of the BWRX-300 scope of supply, supporting capability assessment, factory concept design and investment proposals Job Description Essential Responsibilities • You will be part of a team of manufacturing engineers who cover the process and manufacturing development intensive products needed for the BWRX-300. • The team will be expected to specialize in logistics, condition of supply, component, systems, modules, fabrications with knowledge of construction processes requirements. • Execute manufacturing engineering processes including rate readiness, process capability, DFMEA, PFMEA, Design for Manufacture, Assembly, Construction methods and construction readiness etc. • You will be experienced in Manufacturing Readiness and Production Rate Readiness assessments and improvement planning. • Works closely with engineering to understand product design maturity and change management to ensure supply is managed and risk are understood. • Works closely with the Procurement teams to develop baseline supplier capability assessments aligning customer demand to procurement contracts in the early stages of the program. • Supports procurement in the drive for lead time compression projects and capacity planning. • Work cross functionally to lead supply chain design and manufacturing projects optimizing for arenaflex and schedule certainty. • Lead Industrialization projects with a focus on increasing productivity and reducing costs, leveraging Lean tools and methodologies. • Ensure that sound creative and technical advances in industrialization and methods are integrated into all processes, practices and products. • Support customer discussions on supply chain risk and development. • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. • Lead a cross functional group to understand product change, logistics, supply strategy and constructor needs. • Lead functional teams or projects to drive business improvements. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college, university • 10 years of relevant professional work experience in manufacturing, sourcing, engineering ideally from high value add industries of moderate production volume. • 3 years of professional experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or energy industry mega-projects. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on August 18th. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
