We’re looking for an experienced, detail‑driven Administrative Support professional to join our Newtown team. In this role, you’ll support multiple operational groups, analyze technical documentation, ensure accurate financial processes, and serve as an important partner to both internal teams and external customers. What You’ll Do
You will perform a wide range of complex administrative and analytical responsibilities, including:

Analyzing technical documents submitted by field personnel.
Supporting regional progress toward budget goals by ensuring correct accounting practices.
Following workflow policies and procedures for work originating from Electrical Field Operations, Field Engineering, Electrical Maintenance, Meter Service, Customer Care, Projects, Labor, and Emergency Response teams.
Responding professionally to internal and external customer inquiries while maintaining a positive experience.
Investigating and analyzing reports related to Meter Service, Operations, and Work Management to support key business initiatives.
Performing a variety of additional administrative duties as needed.


Primary Duties & Accountabilities

Assist customers and resolve inquiries from Customer Service, the Electric Service Support Center, electrical contractors, property owners, other utilities, and outside agencies.
Gather, review, analyze, prepare, and process data across a broad range of systems including:
Maximo (Work Management), WMBS, C2, CACS, Fieldnet, ARCOS, Power Track, Workday, Workforce, Microsoft Office, and Power BI.
Develop proficiency in most of the systems listed above.
Process payroll for multiple departments while applying company policies and union contract provisions to resolve pay questions.
Process contractor invoices with the ability to interpret and understand pricing contracts.
Handle sensitive customer account information with a high level of confidentiality.
Complete budgetary documentation in a timely manner and in line with company processes.
Assist with training and onboarding of new or less experienced team members.
Support emergency restoration efforts for Eversource when required.


Job Specifications

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years of experience, or
6 years of experience and an Associate’s degree (preferred).


Preferred Background:

Experience processing payroll.
Experience handling contractor invoices and interpreting contracts.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
High initiative, dependability, and attention to detail.


Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role begins at Step 1: $31.70/hour, with progression in alignment with the union contract.
